Hemispasm used our newssubmit to tell us that A new FAQ entry has been added at Plextor Europe concerning the compatibility of Plextor drives with Mount Rainier:

A: The W4012TA/TU are Mount Rainier ready.
Plextor will release a firmware upgrade for the PX-W4012TA/TU drives to support Mount Rainier in the future."
As Hemispasm writes: "There were indeed a lot of people concerned about this feature(like myself!). This is just good news for all of us having a P40/12TA."
