Plextor Europe releases new firmware for PX-W4012TS drive

Plextor Europe has released a new firmware version for their latest SCSI drive, the PX-W4012TS. When we did our review of this drive we already used this latest firmware, version 1.01, which has the following changes:



Plextor PX-W4012TS firmware 1.01:

Fixed Bugs:

  • Hang-up after eject of discs written by InCD under Windows 2000/XP
  • Eject problems during self diagnostic

    Added:

  • VariRec at 1x writing
  • Correct identification of >79 minutes media
  • Writing up to 99 minutes
