Plextor Europe releases PlexTools Professional v2.09

Plextor Europe has today released an update of their PlexTools Professional software. As the name of the software suggests, the PlexTools software is intended for Plextor recorders. With the PlexTools software you can, for instance, create data CD's and audio CD's and you can use the software to control the advanced options of your Plextor drive with (like VariRec, PoweRec, etc.). Besides that, PlexTools Professional can also be used to do advanced quality tests with your recordable media, although this only works with the Plextor Premium recorder. Here's the changelog for PlexTools Professional v2.09 which tells us that the software can now also burn DVD compilations:

Bug Fix:

AudioCD Maker: some WAV files are not correctly written to disc, causing ticks during playback.
A few minor bug fixes

Besides the updated PlexTools software Plextor Europe has also released updates for their PXInfo, CDVDInfo and PXUpgrade32 software. You can find downloads here.
