Plextor Europe releases PlexTools Professional v2.15

Thanks to 2Off3, who reported this via our Plextor Forum, we know that Plextor Europe has today released a new version of their PlexTools Professional software.
With this software you can control every feature of your Plextor drive and use
it to create both data and audio CD or DVD compilations. PlexTools Professional
can also be used to do advanced CD and DVD error measurement tests, using the
Plextor PX-712A
or Premium drives.

Besides the PlexTools Professional update Plextor Europe has today also released firmware 1.03 for the Plextor PX-712A drive which Plextor Japan released earlier. The change logs of both the PlexTools update and the new firmware release are posted below:

PlexTools Professional V2.15: Changed: CD/DVD Copy: increased Write Performance Bug Fix: a few minor bug fixes PX-712A firmware V1.03: Improvements: Write quality on DVD media. Initialisation time for DVD-R media. Read support for DVD+R DL media. Fixed Bug: Incorrect recognition of DVD+RW media that is written by some non-Plextor recorders.
