Plextor launches USB 2.0 flash memory drive, the PlexFlash

Plextor, one of the world's leading
manufacturers of CD/DVD drives and media, today announces three versions of its
new PlexFlash USB 2.0 flash memory drive '“ the PX-F128, PX-F256 and
PX-F512. Previewed at CeBIT 2003, the drives read at 4MB and write at 5MB per
second, making them easily the fastest on the market today.

Ideal for transporting data, graphics
and music, the PlexFlash drives have high capacities of 128MB, 256MB or
512MB. Weighing only 30g each, the PlexFlash is compact and highly
portable. However, it is shock resistant and highly durable. For securing data,
it also includes a 'write protection capability.'

Being plug and play, the
PlexFlash is easy to operate for both Mac and PC users. No external power
supply is necessary and no drivers are needed for Windows ME/2000/XP or Mac OS
9.x or higher.
