A couple of brief observations. The plex was able to burn successfully 18 of the 24 CDs, the Lite-on with Safe-Burn burned 16 of 24, the Lite-on without Safe Burn 13/24. Burning with safe-burn is probably advisable. Any future burns that I do for public display will be burns with Safe Burn only. There were five disks that none of the three burners/states could do successfully (four were CMC- I would strongly advise you to be very careful when using CMC disks). I must assume that there was a problem with the disks, so the corresponding percentages (ratios) would go up for each accordingly to 18/19 (!), 16/19 and 13/19.
Well what can we say, a very interesting test indeed. You can find the full test procedure on the CDRLabs.com forum. We again thank runner1000000 for submitting this information on our own forum !
