Update: This morning we reported that Plextor Japan had released a new firmware version for their latest drives, the PX-W4824A/TU. Now these new firmware versions can also be found on the European Plextor site!
Thanks to Bozze (who submitted this news via our forum) we know that a new firmware version has been released for the Plextor PX-W4824TA/TU drives.
This firmware, version 1.02, can be found on the Japanese Plextor site and on the European Plextor site. The changes are:
- Added: support for newer CD-R media.
- Improvements: overburn performance
Besides updates for the 48X Plextor drives we can also find updates for one of their portable drives, the PX-S88TU. More information can be found here.
