Our friends of CDRlabs have wrapped up a review on the PlexWriter PX-S2410TU 24/10/24U CD-RW. This slimline drive is based on the TEAC CD-W224E as we found out in our review, but according to Plextor lives up to the Plextor standards. The drives connects to your PC using the USB2.0 interface and has a good performance as you can read in the review from CDRlabs.
Following in the footsteps of the PX-S88TU is the PX-S2410TU. Announced this past November, Plextor's newest portable CD-RW is not only one of the smallest portable writers available, it's also one of the fastest. The PX-S2410TU offers 24x reading and writing speeds as well as 10x rewriting speeds. Plextor's new portable writer also has features like Plextor's own PoweRec technology, buffer underrun protection and support for the Mt. Rainier format. Of course, the PX-S2410TU wouldn't be complete without a USB 2.0 interface. This interface is not only fast, it makes it very easy to move the drive from computer to computer. |
For a portable drive, the PX-S2410TU has some pretty impressive specs. If you're like us though, you'll want to know if it has the real world performance to match. In this review we'll explore some of the features Plextor has incorporated into their new writer and then see how it performs. Is the PX-S2410TU the ultimate solution for the person on the go?
