In El Paso, Texas, The United States are 17 people arrested by police and investigators from the music industry. They are accused of CD and movie piracy and the police seized thousands of CDs and videotapes during raids of two swap meets in El Paso over the weekend.

'Hopefully this will be a reminder to the public that those individuals that copy CDs to make a profit are committing a felony offense," Javier Sambrano, spokesman for the El Paso Police Department, said in Sunday editions of the El Paso Times. |
If convicted, the 11 men and six women, ranging in ages from 17 to 58, face up to five years in prison and a $ 250,000 fine
