Recently we reported that Prassi, an old name in the recording software industry, was back. The company released the software ONES which became pretty popular in a small time. However it seems that the people behind Prassi are now working for another company. Their website states that Prassi has been aquired by Digion, a Japanse recording software developing company. Digion seems to be mainly active on the Japanese market and I-O Data, Sanyo, Onkyo, Sony and NEC are listed as clients of the company.
No information about the future of ONES has been given. We have a forum thread about ONES where a Prassi Team Member was active but it seems he dissapeared.
*Update*: Prassi has informed us that the
development of ONES will continue and Traxdata France and TX Europe will continue to support it. The company has not been purchased by Digion but by Easy Systems Japan.
