Many say that the high price of both high-definition players and content stops them from buying Blu-ray. Retailers believe now is the time to change this and after Wal-Mart's $100 gift card now also Amazon.com lowers its HD prices.
Several Blu-ray titles are now costing only fourteen bucks at the online retailer and with the Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-ray player only costing $298 we see the first steps in the format's new, maybe cheap era. At this exact moment you can start viewing in high-definition for just over three hundred dollars, which will convince some to spend their hard-earned cash.
Of course many are still happy with their DVD players, but with prices decreasing now, you never know what to expect during the holiday season. Currently we see both Amazon and Wal-Mart doing their uttermost to convince and sell, but what do you think? Will there be (very) low prices during Christmas?
