RIAA nails more and more

According to this story on medialinenews the RIAA has nailed more pirates in the year 2001. Its anti-piracy efforts in 2001 led to a record number of arrests, raids, illegal product seizures, guilty pleas and convictions.

Highlights of 2001 include: more than 230 distribution operations raided (compared to approximately 100 in 2000); more than 145 manufacturing operations raided (compared to approximately 50 in 2000); and 2.8 million unauthorized CD-Rs seized (compared to 1.6 million in 2000).

Search warrants were up 74 percent, while arrests and indictments were up 113 percent. Sight seizures were up 170 percent, and guilty pleas/convictions raised by 203 percent.
Although I'm not in favour of the 'big' pirates I'd say go RIAA
