Samsung has posted information on their latest DVD player on their website.
The DVD-HD945 is according to the company the first DVD player with High
Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) support. HDMI is also know as Digital
Scart and ensures that the best video signal from e.g. a HDTV or
a DVD player to the screen. HDMI works by allowing uncompressed video and
multi-channel audio data to be send to the display through one cable. Without
HDMI 3 video connections and 6 audio connections would be needed for
high-resolution audio/video.

Besides DivX, DVD-Audio and SuperAudioCD support this device is also able to
playback MP3 and WMA files. Samsung UK has it listed for the price of £179.99.
