SanDisk announces 32GB Extreme III CF cards

In these days, there are available many high-megapixel single digital single-reflex lens (DSLR) cameras, but to take full advantage of these powerful pieces of hardware, one needs a quick and high-capacity flash memory to store images. In fact, RAW images can consume up to 10 times as much space as regular JPEGs.

To meet the needs of these people, SanDisk announced the new 32GB Extreme III CompactFlash card, featuring a 30 MB/s write speed. According to the official announcement, this card is able to transfer 32GB of content to a computer in a little over 15 minutes. Moreover, the SanDisk Extreme III CF cards possess the industry’s widest guaranteed operating temperature, ranging from minus 13F (minus 25C) to 185F (plus 85C).
