On a news published at Ars Technica, Seagate announced the new Barracuda 7200.11 hard drive, featuring 16-32MB of cache (a huge improvement compared to the 2MB-16MB on the older drives).
Interesting features are also a higher areal density (250GB vs. 188GB), and a lower dB rating and power consumption thanks to the drive's four-platter design.
A first look at this drive is available at Tech Report.
