At this week's CES in Las Vegas Sony has announced special news. The newest Blu-ray movie releases will include a special movie version for the portable PSP. After inserting the PSP into a Playstation 3 the lower-resolution version will be copied onto the PSP's Memory Stick.
It sounds interesting but some say it looks a lot like ripping movies. Sony says it might increase Blu-ray movie sales, but it is not yet known which movie studio's will offer the PSP movie version. But the main question is if this news will eliminate the UMD as a storage media for films... What do you think?
