Our friends from CDRLabs have posted a review on the Sony DRU-700A Double Layer 8x DVD±RW drive. The Sony DRU-700 is one of the first drives to ship with support for the DVD+RW Alliance's new DVD+R DL format. By using two recording layers, this new technology lets the drive record up to 8.5GB onto a single disc.
