Star-Force is still breaking the news, this time they have announced on their website that their CD-Rs are certified by the OrangeBook standards.
This is news as there are reports that the Star-Force CD-Rs have special charataristics that are used for their protection:
Rewritable StarForce discs, a component of StarForce CD-R copy protection system, are quality certified by 'Orange book, part II" PHILIPS/SONY standard. |
These discs perform all technical characteristics of a data media and meet the requirements of CD-R recording technology by Philips and Sony. The certificate is issued by OOO 'Ural Electron Plant".
