Teac Europe has send us a press release announcing their latest two CD-RW models. The Teac CD-W548E and the Teac CD-W552E. According to the press release, both drives use the Z-CLV writing strategy and support Mount Rainier.
The CD-W548E has an access time of 100 ms and a 2 MB cache and will cost about 99 EURO. The drives features also a buffer underrun protection and running OPC technology to determine the best laser power for the inserted media. It also able to do up to 48x DAE.
More information on the CD-W552E was not released.
