Testronic Labs has just expanded its high-def test facility in Burbank. From now on the lab offers tests and quality controls for both Blu-ray and HD DVD. All included features like HDMV, BD-J and BD-Live are tested for the 'blu-camp'. The red team can also test its web features including HDi.
With the introduction of high definition to the home entertainment industry, there have been several changes to quality assurance services. The main problems can be found in the network-connected offerings that worked, or didn't work.
A spokesman of Testronic states that there has been no change in testing needs for both formats, we are curious what to expect... Can anyone give a forecast, what will change?
