TSST launches its first half-height LightScribe DVD burner

TSST (Toshiba-Samsung Storage Technology) already has a slim type LightScribe DVD burner on the market, the TS-L532L, but the recently announced SH-W162L/TS-H552L will be the company's first half-height DVD burner with support for LightScribe. The drive writes DVD+R/DL/RW at 16x/8x/8x, DVD-R/DL/RW at 16x/4x/6x and CD-R/RW at 48x/32x. For improved writing quality it supports 'Speed Adjustment Technology" (SAT), 'Tilt Actuator Compensation" (TAC) and 'Double Optimum Power Control" (Double OPC).
