The popular music player Winamp has been updated
today to version 5.093. You can choose from 4
different versions, but the Pro one requires a valid user key. The update is
mainly a bugfix release, but introduces some nice new protocols. For example, we
now have the ability to use shoutcast via protocol, while surfing on the net.
They work exactly like the irc:// (for mIRC) or callto:// (Skype) protocols,
which can be used for several functions.
