According to Pro-G the LA Times (registration required), says it looks like there will be two flavors of Xbox 360 available at launch. One, is the expected price point we have been reading about. However, it is going to be offered sans hard disk and wireless controller. For these 'extras' prepare to fork over some more cash for a tad fancier model.

The second package will retail for $399 and will include a 20 Gb hard disk, wireless controller, wireless headset, Ethernet cable and remote control. No release date has been revealed, but a mid to late November date is expected. |
Maybe this is common knowledge, but it's news to me. I wonder how many will opt for the unit with no hard disc or wireless controller?
